Senator & Past Chair Linda Mabbs Wins Landmark Award
Please join us in congratulating Faculty Senator and Past Senate Chair Linda Mabbs for winning the 2011 Landmark Award from the Institute for International Programs! The Landmark Ward recognizes exceptional long-term achievements in support of international life at UMD. Ms. Mabbs is an internationally recognized vocalist and opera singer and has sung with many of the world's leading orchestras. Many international students have come the University specifically to study with her and she has taught master classes around the world.
