Joint President/Senate Inclusion & Respect Task Force
The Inclusion & Respect Task Force Force was created jointly by the President and the Senate to consider how best to nurture a climate that is more respectful and inclusive of all members of our campus community, stands against hate, and reaffirms the values that define us a University. It is expected that the task force will report its findings by April 2018.
The task force will engage members of the campus community through open forums and other opportunities. Task Force meetings will be open but individual agendas will indicate meetings in which there will be opportunities for public comment. More information about the task force's work can be found in Senate Document #17-18-03.
To submit feedback directly to the task force on specific working group areas (climate, free speech/hate speech, prevention & education, policies & procedures, hate/bias or other elements of the charge), please go to: https://go.umd.edu/inclusion-respect-feedback
Questions about the task force should be directed to Ann Tongarwee at firstname.lastname@example.org
