Jane Nnadi

Administrative Coordinator

Jane Nnadi holds both a bachelor's and a master's in public health from the University of Maryland and has served in several roles across the university.  These experiences have given her a strong understanding of student, staff, faculty, and administrative life on campus, as well as a deep appreciation for the principles of shared governance.

Her background is informed by the social-ecological model, which emphasizes the influence of interpersonal relationships, organizational structures, community contexts, and policy in determining human behavior and outcomes.

Her previous role as faculty with the University of Maryland Extension allowed her to put university research into practice through managing health and wellness initiatives and policy development in lower-income communities.

In her role as an administrative coordinator for the University Senate, she will be using her expertise in program coordination, data management, and collaboration to ensure the University Senate runs smoothly.
