Senate Bill 14-15-10

Bill ID: 14-15-10
Name: Addition of User Experience Working Group to the IT Council
Proposed: 10/07/2014
Sponsor: Eric Denna, Vice President for Information Technology & CIO
Proposal: The IT Council structure was revised and approved by the University Senate and President Loh in September 2013. This structure includes four working groups: Learning @ Technology, Enabling Research, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Systems. The chair of each working group serve on the IT Council Steering Committee. During the implementation process in 2013-2014, the Division of Information Technology identified a need for an additional working group, User Experience. Because this would change the membership of the IT Council in the Senate Bylaws, it requires a formal review and vote by the University Senate.
