Actions: ERG Committee:

The ERG Committee introduced the revised Plan at its meeting in November 2014 and reviewed the Plan via email. The committee discussed the revised Plan in December 2014, and determined that there were aspects of the Plan that need clarification before the committee can continue its review. The committee corresponded with ARHU on its questions and reviewed the Plan again in May 2015.

ARHU submitted a revised Plan in May of 2016. A subcommittee agreed to review the plan over the summer and bring their findings before the full committee at the start of the fall semester.

The subcommittee presented its findings at a meeting of the full committee on September 7, 2016. The full committee discussed the Plan at meetings on September 28 and October 18, 2016. The committee's feedback was returned to ARHU on October 25, 2016.

On November 3, 2016, ARHU requested that ERG clarify aspects of its feedback. On November 11, 2016, ARHU sent another letter describing additional concerns with the committee's feedback. On November 18, the committee's chair and coordinator met with the chair of ARHU's Collegiate Council to discuss the best way to proceed. On November 28, ERG sent additional feedback providing the requested clarification and addressing topics raised in exchanges with ARHU.

Representatives from ERG and ARHU met in late January 2017 to discuss the Plan. ARHU submitted several revised drafts. The ERG Committee created a short list of remaining issues at its meeting in April. ARHU returned a draft incorporating those changes. The ERG Committee voted to approve the Plan by an email vote concluding on May 5, 2017. The revised Plan was approved by a College referendum, which was certified by ARHU's Collegiate Council on May 19, 2017.

Faculty Affairs Committee:

The committee began its review of the ARHU APT section in January 2015. The section was sent to a subcommittee in the FAC, and was subsequently reviewed by the chair of the committee and Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs. ARHU's revised APT section was sent to the FAC in September 2016. FAC worked with ARHU and the Office of Faculty Affairs to revise the APT section of the Plan. FAC voted to approve the revised APT section at its meeting on April 24, 2017.
