| Proposal: | The amendments to the current Disability Policy (Policy Number: VI-1.00(D)) are intended to clarify the Policy and address practical concerns with the existing policy that University stakeholders have experienced. The ADA/504 Coordinator has worked with the offices directly responsible with administering the accommodation processes - Accessibility and Disability Services (student accommodations), Office of Faculty Affairs (faculty) and University Human Relations (staff and faculty) - and for handling disability discrimination complaints (OCRSM) to identify issues with the current policy and propose these amendments.
