In April 2025 the Board of Regents approved changes to the Council of University System Staff's (CUSS) Constitution (Section I-3.50 of the USM Bylaws). As a result, UMD is not currently incompliance with the USM CUSS Constitution and USM Bylaws. The proposal calls for updates to representation by appointing 1 member of CUSS to be a non-voting, ex-officio Senator of the Campus Senate. The proposal outlines the selection process and term for the appointed member. |
