UM Budget Town Hall
All faculty, staff and students are invited to a Town Hall meeting, hosted by the President's Office and the University Senate, to discuss the University's budget situation and plans to address it. In the near future, you will be receiving more detailed information about the FY 2010 budget.
The Town Hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., in the Hoff Theater of the Stamp Student Union. After a brief introduction, we will welcome questions, suggestions and comments about the budget from the audience. Because of limited time, we ask that questions and comments be kept to one minute.
The meeting follows up on recent letters to the campus community about the budget and the website asking for suggestions about cost saving measures, operating efficiencies, and revenue generating ideas.
Supervisors are asked to make every effort to allow staff members to attend the Town Hall meeting.
