|Proposal:||Section 11.1.c of the University's Plan of Organization stipulates that each College, or each School, and of the Library, and any revisions thereto, shall be filed with the Senate for approval or disapproval. The College of Education (EDUC) is submitting its revised Plan of Organization for Senate review.|

|Actions:||In May 2013, EDUC notified the Senate that it had made amendments to its Plan of Organization and asked that the Senate review and approve its revised Plan. The ERG and Faculty Affairs Committees agreed to review the amendments to the Plan of Organization in the fall of 2013.|
The EDUC Plan of Organization revisions were reviewed at the ERG Committee meetings on 9/10/2013, 9/27/2013, and 10/15/2013. The committee decided to draft comments on the Plan to be sent back to the college after additional review by the committee.
In September 2014, EDUC returned a revised Plan for further review. The ERG Committee reviewed the revisions during the fall 2014 semester. In early December, 2014, the committee drafted comments to send back to EDUC and invited EDUC to an upcoming meeting to discuss the Plan. ERG met with a representative from EDUC in January 2015, and agreed to help provide guidance on revisions while EDUC works to address ERG's comments.
Faculty Affairs Committee:
The Faculty Affairs Committee received the APT Section of the EDUC Plan of Organization in September 2013 and assigned it to a subcommittee for review. The subcommittee presented its recommendations to the committee in October 2013. The committee decided to draft comments on the Plan to be sent back to the college after additional review by the committee.
In September 2014, EDUC returned a revised Plan for further review. The APT Section was reviewed by the subcommittee. The committee asked for further information on three questions. After satisfactory responses by the College, the APT section was then submitted to the full committee for review. At its meeting on January 26, 2015, the FAC voted to approve the section.
