Senate Bill 23-24-05

Bill ID: 23-24-05
Name: Proposal to Modify the Student Conduct Modification Regarding Housing Termination
Proposed: 08/28/2023
Sponsor: James Bond
Proposal: The revised version of the Code of Student Conduct (Code) approved by the SEC in May, 2023 inadvertently included language regarding the Administrative Housing Termination process. This language is now in direct conflict with the Department of Resident Life's (DRL) long-standing administrative process for the review of Housing Terminations that result from Disciplinary Conferences, which are normally handled internally.
